Adzuki beans are a good source of plant-based protein, as well as essential vitamins and minerals. An 85-gram serving contains 6.2 grams of protein, 2.6 grams of dietary fiber, 137 mg of calcium, 181 mg of phosphorus and 10.7 mg of iron. They also provide B vitamins such as thiamin and folate, potassium and magnesium. Additionally, azuki beans are low in fat and contain no cholesterol.
